A man and artist is faced with his humanity and intrisic needs, such as the ability to create, to communicate, to feel and bear emotions, to fully appreciate himself.
The man strives to meet all of these needs, alas real life is to be reckoned with: his frailties and shortcomings are obstacles on the path to a desired wholeness.
Where he stands and where he would like to be seem different worlds. The man has a burning desire to make the crossing between the two, from the real to the ideal, but the rational mind mercylessly reminds him of the barrier that keeps them apart.
Still the time comes when the man confronts that dichotomy, when, unexpectedly, the very body challenges the mind's defeatist attitude and tries to make it see that limits can only be overcome if a change in its attitude and outlook on life is brought about.
